The Sawmill Alignment Technician position is the heartbeat of our company. Each "tech" travels all over the country improving the mechanical functions of sawmill equipment. They are often required to work long hours, work on weekends and sometimes on holidays. Techs are also compensated based off of their experience level, and a hands on training process is available for every tech. - Responsible for maintaining the condition of all company provided tools (i.e. truck, phone, etc...)
-Responsible for traveling to the sawmill, performing the alignment and communicating with mill management on job status.
-Creating a post job summary report detailing problems found and how the problems were rectified.
-Attending all corporate functions when required.
-Staying in communication with management at all times.
-MUST have mechanical ability.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
-Ability to work weekends and/or holidays with a strong work ethic and employment history.
-A self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead others.
-Be willing to travel and work independently, but also with a team.
-Be willing to work long hours to accomplish the job.
Our training program is a little unorthadox and really unique. We tie your compensation to your job knowledge/skill. We have developed 5 "Service Levels (SL)" that will train you from someone who knows nothing, to a subject matter expert, and compensate you for your knowledge and hard work.

Per Diem:
Every day you're on the road, you get per diem.
Health:
CET will pay half of your monthly private health insurance premium UP TO $500 per month.
Retirement:
CET matches 3% of your retirement contribution.
